Two new songs in Yad Mizrah magazine!
Yesterday two of my new songs were published in Yad Mizrah magazine. The songs were written in the last year, as part of a collection of songs I wrote over the period of the last two years. I really like to write poetry, I also participated in a poetry writing workshop led by Eli Eliyahu. Maybe the first time I found myself really enjoying myself in a writing workshop. There is something in poetry that is challenging on the one hand and allows you to touch the experience on the other hand. The two songs I posted relate to two experiences that accompany me. The first, and there is always a picture on the wall, is a longing song for family members who have passed away. He tries to catch my grandfather, grandmother and father, and reconcile with the finality of life along the way. The Bindori event is significant to me. 25 years after the passing of grandfather and father, I find myself thinking about them a lot.
